If you want to support the Voi network and earn rewards, you can run a Func Voi participation node on your own machine. Func is a cross‑platform app that wraps all the Voi/Algorand node nerdiness in a simple interface, so you don’t have to touch the command line if you don’t want to.
The basic flow looks like this:
Download and install Func for your OS (Windows, Mac, or Linux), then choose Voi as the network.
Let Func deploy and start the Voi node software in the background and fully sync to the network. This initial sync can take a few hours depending on your connection.
Connect your Voi-compatible wallet, grab a small amount of VOI from the Fountain faucet so your account can participate, and fund the node address.
Generate and register your participation keys inside the app, which is what actually lets your node help validate blocks and earn rewards.
Leave Func running so your node stays online, check that it’s caught up and participating, and periodically refresh your participation keys when required.
